Europe Matters is a project of CFOR, supported by the EU.
The idea behind Europe Matters is that all over the world, and in this part of the world – among those of us living in Europe - there’s a great need for a deeper dialogue, to interact with awareness about our present issues, our violent history and to shape our future as multicultural societies.
People from 25 countries and more cultures gathered in five day forums held in Sturovo, Slovakia in September 2007 and April 2009 - to gain experiences and facilitation skills and to grapple with our identities, as individuals, cultures and countries, what matters in Europe, and where we are going...

Europe Matters is an idea, a project, a new kind of ‘think tank’.
A special kind of facilitation is needed to meet one another and grapple with how the past shapes our current interactions and to develop the awareness, responsibility and leadership to build a different future.
